Model-specific reset guide

The service-required message on Epson CX4080 often relates to the internal waste ink counter rather than an empty cartridge or paper fault. The steps below help you confirm and resolve that condition.
Why Epson CX4080 stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson CX4080 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson CX4080. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
