Understanding the Canon TS8060 ink absorber warning
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TS8060 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS8060. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS8060
- Turn the printer off.

Connect Canon TS8060 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS8060 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Connect Canon TS8060 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
