Canon TS5333 Ink Absorber Full Reset
An absorber warning on Canon TS5333 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.
Understanding the Canon TS5333 ink absorber warning
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon TS5333 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS5333. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS5333
- Turn the printer off.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS5333 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS5333 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
