Epson WF-2765 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Before resetting Epson WF-2765
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson WF-2765, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson WF-2765. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson WF-2765
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for WF-2765 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson WF-2765 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson WF-2765.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson WF-2765 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Install the original Epson driver for WF-2765; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.

No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
