Epson TX430W uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson TX430W. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson TX430W
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for TX430W and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson TX430W to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX430W.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson TX430W is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for TX430W; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Can I reset Epson TX430W over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
