Epson NX115 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson NX115 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
What the Epson NX115 service message means
Epson NX115 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson NX115. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson NX115
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for NX115 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX115 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson NX115.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson NX115 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for NX115; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Does Epson NX115 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
