Epson L1236 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Connect Epson L1236 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L1236.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
