Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-2862.

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ET-2862 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for ET-2862; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
