Reset the counter in Epson L3218

Start with the connection checks below, then run the reset without opening other printer programs during the process.

  1. Install the original driver

    Install the official Epson driver for L3218 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

  2. Connect directly by USB

    Connect Epson L3218 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

  3. Start Wic Reset Connect

    Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3218.

  4. Enter the key and reset

    Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

Finish correctly: When the success message appears, restart Epson L3218. Allow Windows to detect the printer again before sending a test page.
If Epson L3218 is not detected
  • Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
  • Install the original Epson driver for L3218; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
  • Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
