Why Epson EP-776A stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson EP-776A estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson EP-776A. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson EP-776A
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for EP-776A and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson EP-776A to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson EP-776A.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.

No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
