Canon TS3340 Ink Absorber Full Reset
If Canon TS3340 displays an ink absorber full or service-required warning, the stored waste ink counter may have reached its limit. This guide covers service mode, USB preparation and the reset itself.
Before resetting Canon TS3340
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon TS3340 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS3340. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS3340
- Turn the printer off.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS3340 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS3340 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.

No. Use a direct USB connection between the printer and a Windows computer.
