Epson SC-P600 Reset Waste Ink Counter
The service-required message on Epson SC-P600 often relates to the internal waste ink counter rather than an empty cartridge or paper fault. The steps below help you confirm and resolve that condition.
Before resetting Epson SC-P600
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson SC-P600 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson SC-P600. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

Install the original driver

- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
