Epson L3060 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson L3060 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
Before resetting Epson L3060
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson L3060 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3060. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3060
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3060 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3060 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3060.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3060 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.

No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson L3060 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
