Epson SX200 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson SX200 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson SX200
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson SX200 adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson SX200 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for SX200; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
