Canon TS7440 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS7440 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
What stops Canon TS7440 from printing
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS7440 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS7440. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS7440
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
