Canon TS5050 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS5050 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
Why Canon TS5050 reports an absorber error
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS5050 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS5050. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS5050
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Connect Canon TS5050 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
