Canon G1411 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon G1411 reports that the ink absorber is full, turning it off and on will not normally remove the lock. The printer must be prepared correctly and its counter reset.
Why Canon G1411 reports an absorber error
The lock is based on accumulated maintenance activity. Resetting Canon G1411 changes the counter value but does not remove ink already held in the absorber material.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon G1411. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon G1411
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon G1411 is not detected
- Connect Canon G1411 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.

- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
