Canon TS8070 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS8070 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
Why Canon TS8070 reports an absorber error
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS8070 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS8070. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS8070
- Turn the printer off.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS8070 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS8070 is not detected
- Connect Canon TS8070 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
