Canon TS6420 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS6420 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
Before resetting Canon TS6420
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TS6420 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.

How to enter service mode on Canon TS6420
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS6420 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Connect Canon TS6420 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
