Why Canon TR6010 reports an absorber error
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TR6010 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TR6010. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TR6010
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Connect Canon TR6010 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
