Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon MX358 is not detected
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Connect Canon MX358 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
