Canon G6030 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon G6030 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
Before resetting Canon G6030
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon G6030 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

How to enter service mode on Canon G6030
- Turn the printer off.

If Canon G6030 is not detected
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Connect Canon G6030 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
