The problem

Before resetting Epson WorkForce 310

An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson WorkForce 310 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.

Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson WorkForce 310. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

If Epson WorkForce 310 is not detected
  • Install the original Epson driver for WorkForce 310; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
  • Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
  • Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
  • Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
