Reset the counter in Epson SX425W
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for SX425W and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect Epson SX425W to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson SX425W.

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
