Canon TS6365 Ink Absorber Full Reset
The waste ink system in Canon TS6365 collects ink used during cleaning cycles. Once the estimated limit is reached, service mode and a compatible counter reset may be required.
Why Canon TS6365 reports an absorber error
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TS6365 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS6365. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS6365
- Turn the printer off.

- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.
Reset the counter in Canon TS6365
Check cartridges, close Canon utilities and connect the printer directly to Windows before beginning the reset.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS6365 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS6365 is not detected
- Connect Canon TS6365 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
Canon TS6365 reset FAQ
Does the reset clean the ink absorber?
No. It resets the stored counter. Inspect, clean or replace the absorber pads when their physical condition requires maintenance.
Does Canon TS6365 require service mode?
Yes. The printer must expose its maintenance interface before the counter can be reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Can I perform the reset over Wi-Fi?
No. Use a direct USB connection between the printer and a Windows computer.
